What's wrong with this picture?

Sorry guys, but publicly posting a picture of a product that became damaged in a minor way, when it is well known that this particular manufacturer has one of the absolute BEST return/repair/replace policies, then refusing to have the problem fixed, is NOT "just making a point about quality control" or "making them aware they should use" more glue...

If you really wanted to help you would have just contacted the manufacturer. As Peter said early on:

I'm horribly puzzled at the up and arms attitude when i post something relatively(<- keyword) negative regarding Palio. I posted a picture of the crest missing with NO TEXT and everyone assumes I was crying and moping when one post later i clarified that I wasn't even looking for a return.

Then you ask "why even make this thread, it's pointless, could have been resolved through manufacturer"
Then i cite the "joe's daily deal thread" in which a similar post was made with "just check the daily deal, we dont need a thread" and the response was "Input on the deals, competitor's deals, current cigar feedback from BOTLs is fruitful for some". In the same manner, I was under the impression Palio higherups frequented these forums and was curious as to if this was a recurring problem.

Then I continuously get called underhanded which doesn't quite compute with the numbers i'm crunching because normally an underhanded act provides something gained for the underhandee.

In conclusion, why was this just now brought up? I though this trainwreck on condescension and misunderstanding was gone days ago but apparently the thought wasn't settled.

Aparently not, because you seem to feel the need to keep posting.

From a totally unbiased(I have not already posted in this thread) point of view....

The original post was knida odd. It seemed you were saying this is an obvious problem.....then a bunch of people asked why it was wrong, cutter looked like a cutter. Then a few said they had the same problem AND that they didnt care that it happened. This in no way affects how the cutter works or looks for that matter. If your original post had be a simple question asking whther or not anyone had this problem and a simple pm to the manufactorer(who is an extremely stand up guy and BOTL) no one would have been offended. It was the attitude with which the first post was thrown out. There is such a thing as Forum ettiquette and this was a little off kilter........again just the observation of an outsider.

For the record, pie is better than cake for a large variety of reasons. It can, for instance:

- Be a friend in desperate times. Pie is a comforting friend for the ages (minimum age 18 to qualify)
- Be eaten. Who ever herd of anyone actually getting cake AND getting to eat it? It just doesn't happen, and it won't happen if you let (insert political figure here) get elected!
- Be very versatile. Anything you can make cake from, you can make pie from, but not the reverse. Who ever heard of meat cakes? That sounds like love handles. Eeew?
- Pi(e) is infinite. The only thing infinite about cake is the colony of mold that will grow on it because no one ever got to eat it (see #2 above)
- Have you ever heard of anything as American as mom's homemade apple cake? Yeah, I thought not.
- It's not nearly as funny to think of people stepping in cow cakes....nor as funny to push them into one.
