Was at one of my b&m's the other day and one of the guys there told me that General Cigar was going to try and put a stop on sales of their entire line online. Anyone heard about this?

That would be very stupid. They are in business to sell cigars. Can't sell cigars by shutting off vendors. Sales drop, stock drops, trouble begins. So, they gonna tell JR, Holt's, etc. to stop selling product???? Not bloody likely.

In my own opinion the real reason that this is total :BS is that manufacturers strive to maintain consistency. Without consistnecy, you will not keep any kind of following.
