Thanks Darrell, I suppose I was sort of asking for that. And yes, I did. And it looks like fun. Not good.:hn I even had the hammer cocked and was already tryin' to figure out how to use the "Quick Buy" option on a couple of items, but fortunately wasn't able to figure it out. It's probably just not available on all auctions.

But seriously, there may be some bargains to be had there, and I'll probably watch it for a few days and see what some of smokes go for.

There are definitely some good deals. You can always compare to the online cigar retailers comparison guide: http://www.cigarcyclopedia.com/uploads/cms/comparison_shopper_prices.html. Just to make sure there's not a special going on that may be better than CBid.

You can also ask around if there are some sticks in particular that you are looking to get. Various people bid all the time and are happy to let you know. :)

Speakin' of the devil, I just received an email from CI promoting some 7 1/2X 53 rocket called Brocatus Presidente, 40 cigars, only $34.99. I think the last auction on Cbid they went for approx. 40.00 bucks.

Thanks for that cigarcyclopedia.com site as well. That's truly a real one stop shopper.:ss

Just replied to another thread (by No1der) about these. The last auction they went for $22 for a 20-pack. Though they've also been $19 and $13.

Thanks Drawfour! That link is awesome. :tu

And to think I've had that site bookmark for probably over a year and never got around to exploring what might be inside. Spent the past hour comparing prices.

You're right, it is Awesome, and I have no doubt I would have saved a few (in a couple of cases more than a few) bucks had I been using it. Time to pull the ole head out.:hn

"I'll just order 1 more 5 pack since I'm already paying shipping for this week"

That thought has cost me hundreds!

It is definitely addicting. Every time I browse the site I end up bidding maybe around 200 worth then later I'm always hoping i get out bid so I don't actually win, but when I do win Im :D

The Fuentes and Ashtons don't usually get the good deals, I hate that! But Rocky Patel and Gurkha always has steels, I love that!

What part of NY are you in?

CBid is amazing for cigars. Ask your pocket book what it thinks in about a month. heheheh. I know some of the guys here have quickly went triple over the budget without thinking about it.

:tpd:. Are you spying on me?

It didn't take long Darrel, one CLICK ME and without realizing it had spent over two hours visting the Devil Site. And it didn't take me long to start bidding either.

Was one of the winning bidders for a box of 20 6 1/2X54 El Mejor Espresso Maduro Torpedoes. That's a lot of tobacco for $31.00 bucks. Approx. 14.00 dollars under CI and about 1/3rd of the MSRP. And no sooner after completing my first auction, I was out looking for other auctions that had a large number of lots up for sale. I'm even looking at a 72" tower humi. Just looking though. If I ever place a bid on something like that, I believe it would high time to start looking for a 12-step program.

But seriously, if their inventory is in good shape, and a person picks his spots, it looks to me like Cigarbid.com could become a very good outlet for purchasing smokes.:tu Even their freight is reasonable. Thanks Darrel.:ss

There are positives and negatives with Cbid. A lot depends on how much self-control you have. Once you find out how much self-control you have, then it's just a matter of stocking up on coolers and humidity beads.
