That is my sense as well. I really wanted to like these and I was well on my way it seemed. I'm glad I bought three - I'll give it a few more chances and hope for the best! Thanks for the recommendation!

My first review, so go easy brothers. Unfortunately, without pics (which I promise to rectify in my next outing). The Executive Summary At the end of the day, this was a good, but not a great cigar. I liked the earthy, woody notes that the cigar gave up and the spice seemed balanced...

Great replies, everyone. Having heard so many good things about the Palio, I'm tempted to go ahead and order one. After all, if it doesn't work out...it could find its way into my first piece of ordnance (to be sent out shortly, don't you know... :D ).

The sticks they have are sitting in an open Tat black jar...not sure they will have much to do with the jar once they still all the sticks so if it's important to you, you might give them a call and explain the situation. My guess is that you might be able to work something out...

Just an update on this as I was in there a half hour ago... They still have individual sticks but no jars for sale. The sticks are in a jar to the left of the checkout register. For reference (and so you don't inadvertently make the walk down the street), Gloucester St. does not have blacks...
