I just got a 7 drawer 200 count humidor. I seasoned it with 5 Boveda 1 step packs for the prescribed 12 days. The RH reached 82/83% while they were in it, after 12 days I took out the Boveda packs and put a 1 ounce tube of 65% Heartfelt beads in each of the 7 drawers. After about 5 days the RH...
I'm now cutting my cigars with a Xikar but I'm thinking of trying a punch. I've been told that you get nasty tar build up that screws the smoke up. Any help is greatly apreciated, thankx guys :cb
I'm using hydras in 2 of my humidors and they need to be refilled every 2 - 3 months. I had Cigar Oasis in them prior to the Hydras and the cartridges were of simular make up and I never had to replace the cartridge only refill.
I have a black 207 for about a year and my friend has yellow, on both his and mine the bottom of the tank is clear so as to be able to check the fuel, all colours are clear on the bottom. :cb
I'm looking at the Antietam humidor at Bargin Humidors and I'd like to get some "reviews" from owners. How's the seal, overall quality, are the drawers removable, can I fit 75 7" x 52 rg in each drawer. Thankx for the help. :cb
I'm updating my humidors and want to use the best wireless hygro. Right now I'm using Radio Shack wireless hygros from 2004 and they are off by 4 to 7 percent. :cb
I switched to 65% a year ago, I've not noticed a taste differance however burn issues have disapeared. The only negetive I've come accross is my smokes have a flaky messy ash and my camaroons tend to split or crack a bit, sometimes they do not to be glued though. Go with 65%. :cb
I think beads [from Heartfelt] is the only way to go in your size humi, their cheap easy maintenace and they make caring for your sticks an easy task.:cb
