Just wondering if anyone else has tried these?? I like pretty much all the brands they carry at New Havana so I thought maybe I'd like these.

cant help much on the 18 years thing, but I'd suggest cubans from what I've heard...as for the 9 months, Padron Maduros. PAM 64's if they're in the price range, but the regular line is great too. From my experience they are great fresh and best after 6 mo's-a year.

The last time I was completely WOWED by a cigar was probably a few months ago when I smoked my first, and only, PSD4. I've gotta get a box of those some day, it was incredible. Other than that it was my first Opus and my first ever Padron (a 2000 maduro).

I have yet to try an aged opus....I have had quite a few fresh ones though, and have 9 that are about 10 months old now that I'm trying to age, but the fresh ones are great in my opinion. I went into the opus pretty blind as well, me and a friend went last summer to the B&M and were looking...

I would have to say Tatuaje or Padron's. Probably the Tats since you have them on your sig so I'm assuming you like them. Brown label is my favorite, then the whites.

:tpd: Also Padron Londres are among my favorites and pretty cheap and a nice short smoke. I'm not sure the exact name either but I have been gifted a couple small 601's that I love as well.

Keep looking you'll find em somewhere. I figured I missed out on this shipment cause I was about a week late gettin to my B&M, but then this came out so you never know. The WTS threads have them every once and a while too.

:tpd: Smokin it straight from the FedEx truck, and it's great. I normally wait a day or so but New Havana packs cigars really well. The best part about this smoke is that I've got 9 more in the cooler haha.

Also if you're looking for a good place to have a smoke, the Celtic Tavern is a nice cigar friendly bar.

This is a great thread....and I think a good point that you touched on is that sometimes these great cigars are just as well, if not better suited to bring you out of bad times as opposed to commemorating special occasions.

My friend bought this same deal. He got both the same day, I'm not sure if they came in the same box though. I'm sure they'll fix the problem if they did make a mistake though...I got one box from them that was moldy and a ne box was at my door in two days after the email.
