i'm actually a big fan of the obscure thread title, it at least offers hope of a creative thread (even if it doesn't deliver on that hope) as opposed to the more mundane "what rg do you prefer?" type of title.
a little mystery, imho, is a good thing.

if i have a pet peeve it is misspelled words in the thread title.

oh yeah, i also have to give the use of ellipses a big :tu, but that's just me...

One of the things that wasnt mentioned was that everyone has a choice to open/not open these threads. I should say "almost" everyone, because all the mods and admins for the most part "have" to view them in our attempt to keep things running smooth here (we really love having to skim over every post).
