A cigar ring gauge device??

Pic as promised. No luck on a manufacturer.

Truth be told, I use a set of calipers that I keep around for wood turning.

Local B&M here has a leaf model gauge like that, he said it was a promotional freebie he got from Davidoff a few years back (I asked because I wanted one).

RJT I believe set me up with one of these but I see above he says they are no longer sold. HOWEVER if you do see one on eBay or can get someone to bid on it if it comes up on CBid it is worth your time.

Great for measuring RG plus it looks twice as good in person.

Sometime ago I found one of these at the local B & M and sent it along to Craig and in mentioning it I remember somebody else asking me about getting one for them, but I can't seem to find my notes on who that would be. If that was you and you still want one PM me. For some reason I was thinking it was Bobarian or one of the other Bay Area/Norcal guys. Let me know I have 2.

I've been looking for exactly this type for a while now. Could you please let me know if there is any more available at your B&M?

Well I have 2 and one is yours if you PM me the place you want me to mail it to. :) Gratis para mi hermano :)

where did you pick them up from? do they have more? how much were they?

They where a few bucks I picked them up at the only B & M in town here in Redding, CA. Tobacco N Brew.

Craig and I where thinking of getting some ordered with the CS logo on them (with Admin approval of course), but after contacting the company, Shumsky, several email exchanges later it was determined that these where quite a few years old and they no longer offered them.

So that's that. :D If I don't hear from the person that asked me (Bobarian was that you?)about them they are yours and ritans.

PRICE: Gratis para mi hermano

BTW everytime I see your name I want to read it as "Sea Monkey":D

I am still holding the other for that someone whose name escapes me. :)

thats very generous of you! Thanks!

A friend of mine is going to list one on Ebay in the shape of a tobacco leaf. She came across it at a cigar shop that was closing and picked it up. Said it was going to be listed 3/28/2008. I like it but my wife not so much.

Before I ran this by the group buy area I wanted to share the first proof of the Club Stogie Cigar Ring Gauge Guide. It will be approximately 5.5" x 11" and made of durable plastic.

There is plenty of work still do do but…

Comments, suggestions, corrections are welcome but like I said once it gets a little further along I hope to place a thread in the Group Buy area to gauge interest on the gauge. :)

I want one!

It would be nice if you could fit 3 more holes. Start it at 36 and end at 60.

I actually added the three larger holes over the original design. At some point the integrity & durability of the plastic has to be considered. I will consult with the manufacturer regarding the durability issue.

Thanks for the feedback. :tu
