Post your Ashtrays!

That is the one I have, a gift from my best friend. No CAO letters remaining on mine though, some fell off others were coaxed. I still have them and may eventually reglue them. I've also thought about taking my Dremel to it and grinding down the lettered areas that are slightly recessed to make the letters fit properly. I wonder what color is beneath the flat black glaze?

Or, I could just get a Stinky!

I have both; I'd recommend the Stinky.

My 3 main ashtrays. The solid marble one was a x-mas gift from my sister-in-law, perfect for the outdoor elements. I've been using "the skull" for years, picked it up in Vegas (at Tresure Island) years ago. The Montecristo 70 was free with a sampler package from CI, haven't used it yet.

My ashtray. Picked it up at a second-hand store. I think it's a promo for German beer, but hell if I know for sure.

....and here's where it rests:

Since i am from cologne i can tell you that its ideed a german beer. It is actually my favorite kölsch and my go to beer. I think i am going to take closer look to some of the ebay auctions...

i don't have one :hn i need to go pick one up somewhere, sweeping ashes off of my porch isn't much fun anymore...

If you're only going to get one ashtray, my vote is the Big Stinky. It looks great, cleans up easy, holds a ton of ashes/butts, and can be used easily by 4 people at once without getting in each others way.

I studied in Cologne in college for a summer semester. Great city, looking forward to my next visit.

i was thinking about picking up a stinky. i might also swing by the thrift stores in my area and see if any of them have vintage ashtrays, too

I'm surprised no one is using a Ritzenhoff. They have some really cool ones floating around, just a little expensive brand new.

Here are a couple Shots of one of the two i just got from my parents. It used to be my Grandfather's so it is nice to have something of his.
