Post your Ashtrays!

I'm sorry :), but I figure a cigar is done when it is done... I usually try to enjoy as much of a stick as I can, but I don't go burning my fingers unless it's really worth it. There were some nice nubs in that lot too! A La Aurora Pref., Padron Anny, etc, etc... I think I heard a quote from Zino Davidoff about this... Didn't he say that a gentleman only smokes the first half of a cigar, & only a brute smokes more??? :ss

Heck, I think your nubs are probably better than my every day cigars:confused:

Here's the "free" ashtray JR was giving away with an order of Partagas. Shown here with a Partagas Black Clasico.

Glad I used the search button before asking people to post their ashtrays. :D

That is a very unique accessory stand Dr. Stogie Fresh. I like it!

Saw some great ashtrays in Down Under's picture gallery as well: http://www.clubstogie.com/photo/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=1948

I'm on the lookout for a unique ashtray myself. Anyone have any suggestions? Please post em or send PM.

Thanks,

There are a lot of really great pics! I'm definitely getting a lot of good ideas for my next ashtray purchase. Can this thread be classified as cigar p0rn :D

Here's a picture of the one and only ashtray I have that my wife bought for me a month ago

I know it's not "state-of-the-art," but I believe that Henry's old brass bucket ranks among the "best-of-the-best!"

Those of you who use Henry's cigar tools know about the brass bucket. I took it from Henry's porch and stole a photo!

Henry's grandfather used the bucket to milk the cows. Henry's father used it to contain ashes out of the coal-stove. Henry uses it to enjoy his cigars. No telling WHAT comes next for the old brass bucket!

Henry has bequeathed it to me... As I will bequeath it to my son. PERIOD.

HA! I have that same patio set! BJ's? Well, thats where I go mine anyway and love it!!

As for an ashtray...just have a round ceramic 'free' Thompsons one. It works and the price was just right.

These are very nice ashtrays. I know there is a certain master ashtray maker on the board, I want to see some of his latest art work.;)

Ok I dont have this tray but if I was willing to dish out 129.00 bucks for and ashtray it would be mine....Does that count?

If there are people around still interested in aquiring a similar ashtray. I have a friend who will custom make these(ceramic) for anyone at $50 a piece plus s+h. She has altered the design slightly to 10"x10"x3" with a 5x5 bowl. I am relatively certain that she can do any single color glaze for the base price, and if you want a multi color design she will do that for $10 extra. I will post pics of mine as soon as it gets here. Please send PM's if you are interested and I can get you more info.

Edit: I see that CI has dropped their price to the same $50 so this may not be as appealing anymore.

Went to a thrift store with my wife this weekend and picked this one up for $1.50. I think it's supposed to actually be a candle holder. The cigar on there is 7" and didn't really work well in the "rests". It held the ash just fine though. :ss
