    Uh Oh...Beetles in Sabor Cubano

I tapped the foot as much as possible to get the poop out - and boy, he was not constipated as a ton of black micro-nuggets came out of the foot and hole. Also, while smoking, the smoke appeared to all come out the hole (when the ash got down toward the hole) and made for a really cool...

    Taboo Twist Torpedo

I agree that these are pretty mild compared to what I typically smoke, but they are one of the very few mild-medium smokes that I enjoy tremendously. As I've said in the past, bitterness and harshness are what really kills a cigar for me and these are creamy and completely void of harshness...

    Uh Oh...Beetles in Sabor Cubano

Well, it was bound to happen. I kept 2 desktops around after the Vino additions for singles - one for cheap singles, one for good singles. It regularly hits 80F, so I shouldn't be surprised. I just wish it were the cheap singles humidor. It was a gifted Sabor Cubano - thanks Perkiles (I'll...

    B&M Getting Angry AT YOU?

This is becoming the typical experience lately...I wonder what's going on out there in B&M world? Too many bean counters running cigar shops?

    Opus is in..

My local tinderbox had 3 petite lancero (??) left. They are a torpedo tipped thin cigar (maybe around 6 X 40). Never seen this size before and at $13.50 a smoke, I passed. Also, this box was not in the humidor, but hidden behind the counter. Enjoy you local Opus scores, I'll continue to...

    Why I support the troops.

I support the troops for each and every reason stated in the above posts. I really have nothing to add above the heartfelt reasons previously listed. I am eternally proud of my country and those brave folks who put their lives on the line to protect all the little things that me and my family...

    60-63 RH

Personally, my '96 Cuban Partagas Lusi's from the POS factory are unsmokeable unless they are between 63.6%-63.8%, otherwise they taste so...tobacco'y. :r Seriously, try it out, if they draw and smoke good, that's all that matters (as long as your between 55-80). I actually do think some...

Another "Its Plume" story - Ruth Chris' Cary NC

So I am out at Ruth Chris' steakhouse in Cary, NC last night and looked into the cabinet humidor they had. Mostly std Fuentes, Ashtons, Padrons and Davidoffs. The bottom of the humi was all Padron Anniv and they were all covered in mold. Now, I have to confess, I am not a biologist, but I...

    My Vinotemp Project

Awesome set-up:tu Sure makes my shelves (I just cut some cedar to the right length and wedged them in the slots) look like a hack job. I also agree with the concern over not having airflow slots. Might be worth while to cut some grooves in the bottom of the shelves.
