For an inexpensive smoke, there is nothing I've had that is better than a Padron. The 2000's are good as well. Actually I had most of them (except for the Anniv 1926 I think) and they are all excellent.

Hi, I am relatively new also. I have a 100 count and it took a week, perhaps a bit more to stabilize. My guess is that it needs a bit more time. If you have a decent humidor (and sounds like you do), it should even out in a few days. Until then, I wouldn't worry much about it. Good luck...

If you keep them in a cellophane bag you will get an ammonia smell. I think it is from aging. Letting them air out a bit will probably help.
