    Padron 3000

I have never been disappointed by a Padron. Excellent smokes.

    Heartfelt Beads

I mist mine using distilled water in a spray bottle I got at an Osco. The only problem is that it is difficult to see how wet the beads are. At first I tended to oversaturate the beads, but lately I've gotten better at it. I like the idea of the tubes but there are other...

    Cream Soda Lovers?

Cream Soda is awesome. I remember drinking it from small (12oz?) bottles back in the mid-late 60's when I was kid. I remember you could also get flavored ones--or at least I think I remember that. I wonder what brand they were. I think my Dad used to get them at a gas station. This was in...

Ever Had A Cigar You Didn't Want To End?

That's an easy one to answer: any Padron 1964.

    Cigar draw and Padron's

Mainly the regular line. But I have had a couple of the fantastic 64's, which were perfect.

    Cigar draw and Padron's

I tend to keep them around 65%. I use the Heartfelt beads and a digital hygrometer (just calibrated). But having said that, a number of them are from the local B&M and are smoked within a few days after purchase, so they may be stored higher than 65%. The Padrons from the same store always...

    Cigar draw and Padron's

I'm a little new to this. I smoke a fair amount of Padron's (2000's/3000's). One thing I've noticed when smoking other cigars is that draw on most of them is noticeably tighter. I had an Oliva V torpedo the other day and found the draw to be tight. This is the second one of those that were...

    Tasting through the nose

I've been trying something similar. I exhale out of mouth and up and then inhale a bit into my nose. That may work also. I've tried exhaling though my nose a bit but it seems like I need to get a lot of the smoke in the back of my throat for that to work. I've only been able to get it to...

    CheapHumidors.com Atta-Boy

I have nothing put positive things to say about CheapHumidors.com. Recently bought an "imperfect" Milano humidor from them. I found one very small scratch...on the inside. The humidor works perfectly. Also, bought a 5 count Otterbox and a digital hygrometer. Shipping was very, very fast and...

    Padron 3000

For an inexpensive smoke, there is nothing I've had that is better than a Padron. The 2000's are good as well. Actually I had most of them (except for the Anniv 1926 I think) and they are all excellent.

Please help out a cigar newbie.

Hi, I am relatively new also. I have a 100 count and it took a week, perhaps a bit more to stabilize. My guess is that it needs a bit more time. If you have a decent humidor (and sounds like you do), it should even out in a few days. Until then, I wouldn't worry much about it. Good luck...

    Ammonia/Musty Smell

If you keep them in a cellophane bag you will get an ammonia smell. I think it is from aging. Letting them air out a bit will probably help.

    Drinks with Cigars

    First time NUB-er

You're right. I should have been more specific and said Padron x000 series. Actually, I had my first Padron 1964 yesterday. Very, very nice.

Props to Kioki Cigars and Eric

I have to agree. I recently ordered a box of Padron 3000's from him. His service was simply exceptional. I'm looking forward to buying from him again.

    Nowhere to smoke... for now

Cool. I'm near Chicago, and with winter coming I'm pretty much done from November until next April or May. A friend of mine is having an outdoor fireplace built for his house, so I'll probably get to use that but that is about it. The way I look at it, it lets me age my Padrons until next...
