Are the opus x's worth it?

I''ll trade you Padron Ann26's for the rest of my Opus. You have a dozen or so? If not, Anejos will be fine!!!

Oh crap, now Moki's talkin about my beer Guiness. I love that stuff and plan on heading to the English pub to have one properly poured this Friday. That's another subject about how different Guinesss can taste if poured properly in a pint.

i'll take you up on that offer to trade anejos for opus. check the newest purchase threads to see what i've gotten lately :ss

i have yet to smoke an Opus so i can't comment on your question...i have 2 in my humi i bought almost yr and half ago....i just can't seem to light one up as i read about different sticks and Just HAVE to try them first

Whats a good price for OpusX in those 3 cigar tins? My local B&M has them for $75 to which I get a 20% discount on. Still sounds a little high to me.

But the question was,are they work paying double to triple the MSRP. If you have yet to smoke one, such as myself, you really dont have a preference to go off of. Was just wondering if paying 3 times the value was worth the smoke in those who have tried its opinion.

I don't think that's any different than my answer, though. It's personal preference as to whether you'll like the cigars or not, and it's personal as well whether it's worth overpaying for them.

I personally don't think it's a good idea to pay over MSRP + taxes for any cigar, you're just feeding the gougers.

yes i'm taking into account taxes. i've thought about reporting them. i can walk right into tampa sweethearts and pay 9.78 for an anejo but the same mall store charges 14.95. they both are in the same state and they are definately overcharging compared to msrp. last time i saw opus there they wanted 15$ for one XXX. i paid less than that at sosa cigars which is in disney.

so here's the delima. do i report them or just say nothing. they have 3 pack tins there right now for 69.99 for the robusto's. crazy eh? look up mr. d's tobacco on the fuente opus x list.
My bad, I should've seen you were in Tampa. I have a B&M here selling the tins for $99. That caused me to look elsewhere and I have a new regular B&M where I picked up a tin for just over $40 and some other singles.

If floydpink doesn't take you up on the offer, I'd trade a few for some Anejos.
