    Kegerators

I happen to like this little unit. It keeps the beer fresh for 30 days but your limited to Heiniken and Heiniken Light Draughtkegs for now... http://www.krupsonlinestore.com/product_detail.asp?T1=KRU+B95&SELECT=%20&SKW=krubeer&MENU=beertender

    Dogfish Head Aprihop seasonal beer?

I wasn't a huge fan of the DFH Black and Blue either....but the Aprihop is a decent summer beer. I rarely reach for it when there's so many other wheat beers that command my attention.

Any recommendations on where to smoke in downtown Little Rock? Can you smoke at the Flying Saucer?

More information for DC, MD and VA peeps interested in starting a private cigar club

Man, I'd be all over this but sadly my time in this area is fleeting. By the time you get this all sorted out I'll probably be relocated but lets chat about this in detail at Havana Club tomorrow :tu

    Bead problem..WTF!

Yes it is....fully charge 3lbs of beads in too small of an environment and the RH% will rise above the stated RH% of the beads since the beads cannot absorb the excess humidity. That's the whole point of having the right amount of beads per cubic foot. Here's the tip from Heartfelt's site...

    Bead problem..WTF!

Run the math and see whether 3lbs is overkill for the 150qt cooler. Based on my quick calc's you only need 2lbs. Try reducing the beads by 1lb and see whether that brings the RH% down to your liking.

Who is interested in starting a cigar club

Have you checked the local smoking bans to see whether this type of club would be legal? I think this type of club is cool especially for winter months but I'd probably pass if I had to deal with Beltway traffic to head into NoVa. If this idea takes off, I'd rather see it centrally located in...

    Indianapolis - Nicky Blaine's

Met plenty a cool folk there and usually a fun crowd around F1 weekend :tu

    Yay for plume!

Here's my take on the situation... 1) Plume does not contribute to the taste of the cigar. 2) Plume can also be 3 dimensional fuzz that's very thin and light and looks crystalline in nature. It generally coats/dusts the cigar. Thus the confusion between whitish colored mold and plume. 3)...

Good places to smoke in Vegas

I would strongly suggest Casa Fuente in the Ceaser's Forum shops. Nice atmosphere, good looking waitresses, decent mojitos and you can sit in the patio area and people watch. I spent most of my time there and also at the pool area where I stayed at the Mandalay Bay. Gustav Mauler's is another...

    Wine chilller vs Coolidor

I'm sure this has been said many times over but save yourself the added cost of a wine chiller and buy a cooler. Unless you live in really hot climes, take the money you saved and buy more cigars :tu

should I wipe the humi with distilled water ?

There you go.....now introduce your sticks and sit back and watch the RH% adjust over the next few days. By Sunday the RH% should have stabilized and then you can decide whether to take any further action or leave the humi well enough alone. A word of advice, do not repeatedly open the...

    Costa Rica cigars - suggestions?

    Don Benigno...they're not half bad.

should I wipe the humi with distilled water ?

Not the end of the world. I've done that before. Just soak up any excess with a paper towel. Check the RH tomorrow and if it's high, leave the lid open for a day or two and then start over.
