I bought a box of the gran robustos a couple of years ago. For me, even after a couple of years of aging, they still have a bit of a chemical process aftertaste....it ain't ammonia and I don't know how to describe it. Good deal for the price....but, overall, not a well balanced cigar IMO.

That's a good price.....seems like you can get good deals floating around for those vs. spending say $130-150 per box. I think the Connecticuts are nice smokes too. They remind me of the 5-Vegas Golds.

Hmmmm....I smoke a couple of sticks a day....to where I am now jaded. :r But when I toast a V it grabs my attention like few smokes. :ss

I think the flavors are muted and overall way overpriced for what you are getting.....but that's just me. On the other hand the seconds at seconds prices are worthwhile. :tu

I like these alot. :w Bought one from my B&M and then ordered a fiver from C-bid. I was skeptical about all the hype but these delivered in my book. I will jump on a deal if I see one floating around from Joe Cigar or whoever wants to tempt me. :tu

I ordered a fiver and the first one tasted quite young. I think I'll give these a few months at least. The corojos are good from the get-go IMO.

Should he continue to call these 1990's and 1992's? And for that matter same with Punch and 'rare corojo.'

I had my first one today.....the habano. Very weird stick to hold and smoke. But it was packed well, burned well, and tasted yummy. I'll have to get more. :tu

A good stick when compared to economy bundles IMO. I wouldn't pay alot for 'em though. I like these better than the A's.

I've also had the robustos.....very nice.....one of the better cammie sticks out there IMO. :ss

:tpd: My fav stick....for now. As they always seem to change. Got a box of the belicosos at CBid......I like this size even more than the robusto, but both hit the spot for me. The larger ring belicosos seem to tone down the strength a bit so that it has a bit more mellow, rounder taste IMO...

Funny, all of mine are packed too loose ..... spongy to the touch. BTW, I got the torps. I still like 'em alot. :tu

I've experienced alot of inconsistency with them. Construction issues.....and now require aging before they are smokable IMO. Maybe it's just me but they don't seem to be the same stick they were at introduction.
