    Pre Embargo from CI?

Anybody biting on the new advertisement at CI for pre-embargos from Camacho? What's the deal with these -- they fashion a cigar in the same vein as what would have been done in 1962? They do look tasty.

Wel I Got The Shock Of A Lifetime!!!

    Hello slope, meet double slope!

    ashton VSG

Man, I wish my local HAD them! I can't think of a place near me that typically has VSG. But I love 'em likethe rest of y'all.

A favor for a friend in Galveston after Ike.....

This whole thread seems preposterous! Chainsaws, and bombs, and forbidden. Who actually lives in Galveston? What kind of chainsaw was it?

    La Riqueza #5

I bought a box of #5 when they were first released, and have been smoking about one per week since. I wish I had waited until right now (about 3 months?) to start in on them, because they are perfect at this time. I agree with your review Boondoggle, and I'll be picking up more of these for...

What's your rotation look like lately?

Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro, PSD4, La Riqueza #5, Tatuaje Reserva and 2006. On my splurges I've been loving whatever Ashton VSG I can get my hands on, and I now believe that the Davidoff Millenium Robusto is the best cigar on earth.

Perdomo Lot 23 Natural or Maduro?

I love them both actually, but the maduro made it into my "frequently smoked" category.

    Perdomo Lot 23

Great review -- I was surprised you didn't give it a 8.9 the direction you were heading, but I think I feel your flow. This has become one of my value-line go-to smokes for all the reasons you stated. :tu

    Moved out!!!

Enjoy your new freedom brother! Sounds like you started it out right with the Padron 1964. That is definitely a great smoke. :tu

The ultimate way to beat all the smoking bans!

True that, but there's always the old figurative math that needs to go into a "split" of this magnitude. I can see this being a great idea for a wedding, or any other party. I'm sure 10-20 people could make the cost reasonable.

    An upopular stance.....

No, you have to like them! ;)

    Anyone looking for Ashton ESGs?

I refuse to buy cigars from ebay. Too many loopholes allowing too much room for questionable cigars IMHO. I know too many people that have gotten burned by fake Opus, fake Ashton etc.

    everybody asks...

I usually say Tatuaje or Ashton VSG, not that it strikes a chord with anyone outside of our sick little world. What do they want me to say, Cohiba?

    Do you keep your bands?

I want to make a pinata with all mine. I figure it would take something like 5 years to completely cover one.
