Houston Herf- This is what CS is all about!

Man I wish I wouldn't have been so caught up playing that damn Golden Tee machine and introduced myself around. I was there fairly early, bought a couple Graycliffe robustos and smoked the perfecto that they handed me as I walked in the door. There was a guy playing Golden Tee and he and I had...

    Can These Cigars be Saved

I have a friend that was going through his garage several months ago and he found an unopened box of Upmann cigars from Cuba no less. Keep in mind that this garage is in Houston where the temperature gets pretty hot. He said he couldn't remember how long they have been there. I told him to...

Great Cigar Lunch With No Cigar Smoking

Very nice place it looks like. They are voting today on banning all smoking in Houston....we will see. By the way, I'm an HP guy too.

Why do you say that? I know there are only 300K or so being produced but do you think they will only be available here online but not there in the DR?

    La Aurora - 100th Anniversary

Has anyone tried the 100 anniversary cigars from La Aurora? I have heard they are fantastic though a bit pricey. I have a friend in the Dominican Republic on business this week and was thinking he might be able to get me a better price.

    Zino Platinum Shorty

Just wondering if any of you have tried these little guys? I was looking for something small that would be perfect for that quick smoke when you don't have a lot of time. I bought a couple of these and a 5 tin of the CAO Italias. I have had the Italias before but not these little ones...

Are you sick of lighters that don't work?

Great thread....sometimes as a guy I like things....and a nice lighter is one of those things....you may not need it but it looks good! Well, I have tried a few torch lighters and have finally just about given up. They just don't last long enough and I have trouble getting them to even accept...

    There's Hope!

It almost seems a waste to have a smoking lounge for cigarettes. I like the concept though.

As I'm about to turn 50...

For consistency I always turn to Monti #3s....even the NC variety seem to always be consistent. Also, one that you may not have heard of but my brother turned me on to. They are Don Juan Platinum Series. You can order online and they are quite inexpensive. Not very strong but very consistent.

    Don Juan Platinum

The platinum series is actually a pretty decent cigar. My brother buys these by the box and says they are very consistent. I have smoked a couple with him on occasion and they are fairly mild.
