Ok so I have yet to even see these at my B&M's,given I only have 2 near me,but still, they are pretty well stocked.Anyways,I keep reading reviews about them and seeing people searching for them,my question is,are they worth it? Is it a nice enough stick to spend 20+ plus bucks on?My trigger finger has been itching to place an order on a few singles,or a 5 pack. lol Any input?

My experience with them has just been awesome. I've smoked one on each of my last 3 birthdays and have enjoyed them all. As you say a little expensive to say the least at $30.00 a pop.
Well worth it. go for it.

It might be worth it just to try and see how you like them. I've only had 3, and have enjoyed each of them, but I've had $4 cigars I enjoyed more. It all depends on your taste but I have a tough time spending $20 on a cigar. However, I did just buy a box of 8 Davidoffs :dr and those were $14 smokes. Shows what I know.:ss

IMHO not really if they are right off the shelf of the B&M but if they age in my humi for a few months they are pretty good. I found the La Aurora 1495 this weekend. I have been wanting to try this stick for awhile and man I was not disappointed.

If you enjoy a strong smoke I say yes.

The Opus X is by far the best Dom. Puro on the market.
The Dom. wrapper gives off an almost salty taste.

So it looks like the no's are winning here.Ya MSRP seems to be half what I have seen them selling for.The only 2 b&m's around me have high high prices, one has the "power ranger" for 45,and the other has the Perfecxion A for 70,the only stick they have in stock is the Super Belicoso for 30.Guess ill just hunt around and find a couple at a fair price. Kind of upsetting that they are jackin prices up so high.

check vitolas.net for MSRP list-$1 or $2 over, ok, but any more & not worth it IMHO-if you do a search for opus & read thru some threads, you'll find cheaper places to get them-oh hell, tampasweethearts.com (for the 4th time this week!)

To me I say yes, luckily my B&M sells them for $10, but honestly would pay $20-30 for them, but they don't know that :tu

You may want to splurge and buy one just to try it for yourself, however I've always bought them around my residence for $10-15 each. They are very good smokes in my opinion, but I doubt I would buy several for $20 a pop, mostly because I can usually get them for half the price.

A bit too expensive for my tastes, but I think they are worth it. To me, you get a lot out of the experience of just finishing one. I feel like I have accomplished something great just by finishing it. It's like one of those "once in a blue moon" type smokes. Not because they are bad, because they are too expensive, but damn worth it!

Well i will look around, and try and find some for a decent price. Local places are over charging a ton. did have one fellow BOTL offer to send me one,but I had to decline. Just really wanted to ask opinions not fish for a freebie :) Thanks for all the input everyone.Ill just add this one to my List to try,lol its a big one,and seems to keep growing day by day,but I'll knock it out sooner or later.

Agreed with that economic look at it.

Had some great cheap cigars, ones that would compare if not a flat out better smoke to the pricy sticks.

Worth it? Well, I guess that depends. As most know, I'm not a huge fan of NCs. However, I have enjoyed the few Opus X cigars I've tried over the years. Worth it? Is a $300 cigar worth it if it is a Dunhill Cabinetta? I guess the answer is...it depends.

They are good cigars.

Are they worth it ?
If thats what you like to smoke, then they are worth it. They are a good cigar, not a great one.

It all depends on what you like and what you want to smoke.

The ones I have had I have enjoyed. Like everything, if you like it you go after it.
