If this is a Cigar Caddy brand, don't mess with it. Call the company HQ in Ft. Collins, CO and I'd bet they'll replace it no questions asked. Jamie, aka Cigar Caddy on CS, is the owner and his people will take care of you. The warranty is great.

Nice start, but if you've learned anything since you came here, this may be the most important. NEVER promise the better half you won't need a bigger humi or that you won't pick up more cigars. Hints and innuendo are acceptable but promises of that sort will always be broken.

I have a lot of cheap cutters, some with lifetime warranties. I stopped using them after just a few times of getting bad cuts. If you get that cutter, it'll always make a great gift to somebody just starting out with cigars.

Not sure what profile you like, but IMHO, I vastly prefer Cuban cigars in a very general sense. There is also no question for me that the best NCs are definitely better than 'some' Cuban cigars, but I would put that number to be quite small.

MaxCold and Rubbermaid both have slots, at least the 150s. Not sure about the coleman but I'd think so. I don't personally use them, tho.

As long as the coolers seal, and are free of funky odors, any should work. I use the Igloo MaxCold (150 qt at Target online) because of the size, the heavy insulation and the recessed lid (nice when too full).

For me, another reason to leave the ribbon on is that in general without it, the cigars don't fill the cab since they move into the corners. Loose cigars in a cab can be damaged over time as the cab gets shifted around. I prefer a nice tight bundle until it's broken for smoking, or until...

I don't and never have. All cigars in the coolers are in boxes and there's no reason to line with anything other than aesthetics and aeromatics. If your cooler isn't full, it could help the Rh stability.
