It started coming off about 1/2" in and it sort of just fell apart into small pieces. I mean there was no saving it, it happened so fast, but still the remaining smoke was good as always just strange....
I already posted in a review on the Perdomo Cameroon Cabinet series and it is one of my favorites smokes. I had one today and the wrapper totally started falling apart the moment I started. It has been in my humidor for 4-5 months and this has never happened before.
My humi has always been...
I was not planning on doing a review for a while because of some personal stuff I am going through right now but I smoked this stick just today and it was a lot different than I had envisioned so I thought one more before I have to be out of touch for a short time.
First things first, some of...
Thank you for your picture comment. Griffin was a special little boy who just didn't make it, but I am sure makes God's home a better place for all. Again thanks for the comment!!!
Can you say embarrassed?, or just stupid, or just old and need to be put out to pasture?
You are exactly right. I did a search on the internet and for sure it was lit backwards....
I took off the band and cut it here in the house and had two phone calls before going outside to enjoy it.
I...
I did not expect to do another review today. I am not a review whore, but when I fired up a noon stick today, I truly found one of the most enjoyable smokes since i have started smoking early last year.
Being a rookie at this I have approached it to try different brands and do as much...
Same here...
I had one a few days ago that was over a month old in the humi and I liked it ok. I remember when I first got it it was a little funky smelling, but the other day when I smoked it I noticed the smell was smooth and thew flavors were good in the draw and the smoke in the air. You...
As promised I got to try my first Taboo today. It was the Robusto Special Forces Original. It was sent to me by jaycarla as posted in the bomb thread yesterday. Again a thanks goes out to him for giving me that chance at a Taboo.
Before lighting it up I noticed it was very dark wrapped and the...
Id say about....50 years????
Forgetfulness - unwillingly...all the same.
When I was 6 or 7 my dad caught me and a friend smoking one of my dad's cigars we had copped. I am not sure, or don't remember what I got the a$$ whooping for; theft or smoking, but I remember wanting to do it again.
I...
Re: My First Rocky Patel - How do you taste the nuances?
I am no expert at all, but I began to notice more flavors when I started doing two things; learning to "snork" through the nasal cavities, very gently and very slowly, and secondly I slowed down. I think I was rushing it too much...
I got 5 of these in a Joe Cigar deal about three months ago. Of course like a green newb I had to try one within a few days of receiving them. I too thought it was not a very good smoke at all. In fact I was very unhappy with them. I tried the second one a few weeks later and I actually didn't...
I have never smoked cigarettes, but for some reason I have always been intrigued by cigars. Had an uncle way back when who was always smoking a stogie and to me he seemed the happiest person on earth..back then.
Early last year I found myself concerned about a few health items, nothing serious...
I did a search and found this post, I think that's an ok way....
Anyways I had my first 1990 tonight and I loved it. The burn was good, the taste was very consistent, and from the very first draw, snorking was easy and very pleasurable.
I will get more of these and I am eyeing the 1992 in my...
I grabbed this stick a week ago at a local B&M. I really liked the dark look to it and decided to try it today.
I don't have any pics but I lit it up and noticed some very spicy flavors at first. It never tasted bad in any way but what happened right after the first third, it split open, and...
