IMO, I found in many cases that since the whole Cigar becomes a filter of the smoke while you smoke a cigar Once I finished smokeing and let it lay around it got that stale smell. So I would lite it and see for your self, try it.

Thanks for making it clear. I didn't think I have to explain that when you paint an apartment with two coats of oil paint it has a paint smell for weeks. Ok, the question is should I leave the sticks or take them out some where else.

Congrats on your wedding, I'd just make sure you don't get busted by the catering hall. Make sure they will allow Cigars. I would thing it might not be legal in most states to smoke inside. unless your where thiking of pulling every one out side. or do you just want to give it out as a gift???
