How do you deal with the girlfriend/wife when she tells you she hates cigars!

Remember, of course, the wise words of Rudyard Kipling in "The Betrothed".... "A woman is only a woman... but a good cigar is a smoke." Or one of my personal favorite pieces of worldly advice. "The cigar numbs sorrow and fills the solitary hours with a million gracious images." - George Sand...

What's your cigar for Super Bowl

Depends on who wins. If it's my boy Shaun and the Seahawks it will be the best cigar I own. If it's the Packers, Probably the second best cigar I own. If it's Peyton and the Colts, probably the third best cigar I own. If the Patriots win, I'll just take a Cremosa and use it to light my fireplace...

    Anyone Tried A Stradivarius?

I've smoked 3 of them, one of each size. As of late I've been on a milder cigar kick and this definitely falls into that category. There's really nothing wrong with this cigar but at the same time it is probably the sort of cigar I would recommend going out and buying a whole box of...

    Any Smokers in Tucson?

It's a hell of a drive from Prescott down to the desert just for a cigar... Mountain Man. xD That being said, at some point maybe I'll make it back up to Prescott. If so, I'll have to give a shout out to all you High Altitude smokers.

    Any Smokers in Tucson?

I was just wondering... seems there are a lot of fellas up in Phoenix that enjoy the leaf... How bout any one in Tucson? I'd love to arrange a get together. Maybe smoke a few sticks and have a few whooskies or something. Of course the fine BOTL's from Phoenix are welcome to make the journey...

What high end lighter would you reccomend?

I've seen DuPont Xtend's be run over by a Mazda and picked up and light on the first click. Be run through the wash over 50 times and still work perfectly. Simple design, many superfluous parts other lighters have are simply removed. Most other parts that are normally formed from plastic on...

    Winston Churchill by Davidoff

If your B&M has Millennium Blend then they should have a white label account with Davidoff. If they do then they have to carry the Winston Churchills. Where I'm at they run anywhere from $13.50 up to $22 for the big ones. The problem I would see with aging these cigars is that they would lose...

    Winston Churchill by Davidoff

Your B&M will unfortunately require a white label Davidoff account just to see the Winston Churchills. It's sad to me that Davidoff is so picky about who they dole those out to. You might have to go online to find them, and don't be suprised to pay a premium for them.

    Winston Churchill by Davidoff

Just wondering if anyone out there has had the opportunity to try one of the new Winston Churchill cigars that were recently released by Davidoff. I've had 3 of them so far and have been thouroughly impressed. In fact I would go so far as to say it's one of the two best cigars I've had since I...

    Anyone try the 3x3?

These are worth giving a try. My store sells them and they are generally a great cigar if you are in the mood for a smooth, mild smoke that maybe you wouldn't mind if it fell overboard while fishing or if you needed a shorter smoke that maybe you wouldn't mind stubbing out in the ashtray on...

Post a photo of your favorite place to reflect and enjoy this thing of ours...

Damn, who knew that TideRoll and SvilleKid could build stuff... not me... no... not at all... not decks... and definitely not cars. No. Uh uh, not at all. Especially not decks or cabins in the woods. Nice view Tim. Sometimes I forget how nice your back porch looks. It's a shame I'm so far away...

Review of Avanti...not good enough to go in Reviews...

We carry these at the B&M where I work. They are pretty awful to be honest. Unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY like licorice... stay away! These things are so strong in licorice we have to seal them in plastic bags in the humidor to keep the smell from permeating everything else in the walk-in...

    Colibri Lighters WHY????

Go with either a Dupont Xtend or a Porsche Design or a Blazer. The Xtend usually run around $120-$200 depending on which one and where you buy them. I for one saw a fellow employee run over one with his car... get out pick it up and light it on the first click. The good thing about the Xtend is...

    Need Small Used Digital Hygrometer

I am in need of a small inexpensive possibly used hygrometer. I really can't afford to buy one. (even with my employee discount at my cigar store.) The problem is the cheapest hygro we sell is $20 but it's the size of an Atari. There is a Prometheus hygro that is just about the right size (1.5'...

    Davidoff Millenium Robusto

Personally I think the Dav Robusto is utterly fantastic. Spend the cash and get one or two. Smoke them on special occasions. I have smoked very few NC's that I would say live up to the level that the Dav Robusto does. I have actually had worse cubans. MUCH worse cubans. I would even say there...

Anyone know of a cheap alternative to Davidoff Special R?

The occidental is going to be mild like the special R but it lacks the complexity that I find in many of the Dav's. Although for about $2 a stick... that is a hard to beat price. The Griffins is actually made by Davidoff as is Private stock. Private stock are actually davidoff seconds so the...

    Cohiba Black (Maduro)

The answer to that question is yes. The NC Cohiba label has three lines. The original and infamous "Red Dot". The Cohiba XV (the best of all three) and the soon to be mass released Cohiba Black. All of the Cohiba's are overpriced in my opinion. The XV is the only one that I can even stand to...
