I'm talking about the cold air return for your furnace.
See..Dampers are meant for feeds..not returns. Depending on the size of the room, if your feeding it with cold air(A/C running)..and not returning the same amount of air..you could possibly freeze the "A" coil. You're not supposed to have...
Something to keep in mind for you Cigar room guys..
*Never* put a cold air return in your smoking room. For you guys with basements, the basement will be cool enough in the summer, and you can use electric heat in the winter.
For those of you who don't have basements, you can use "ductless"...
PDS - My thoughts EXACTLY when I smoked the Connecticut. I'm a HUGE Diamond Crown #5 lover..and this particular Nub reminded me of it. I also notice the construction of the cigar..and I thought it was amazing as well.
What did you think of the burn? Pretty consistent..wouldn't you say?
Sam - I REALLY like the Connecticut 3.7 X 58 Nub. I was actually impressed with the burn..and the construction of the Cigar.
If I had to point out a negative thing..The draw was tight on a few of them...just very slightly though. But I had a few in where the draw was near perfect for me. Hit...
So now a 54 ring gauge is considered a jaw breaker? lol
You have some issues there pal..I don't wish to play your games. I don't come to message boards to pick fights ..so you can stop puffing your chest out..you win.
So I shouldn't try one, because you said they are covered in grape, and they MUST be bad?
Not trying to pick a fight but.. If you never tried that cigar before..I don't understand how it can be bad then? what's so bad about it..it being grape flavored? If you don't like grape that's fine..but...
Of course someone is allowed to rip on the dimensions or the owner or whatever they wish(except flavor)...I don't think anyone is arguing that point...at least I'm not.
I never seen this site get so worked up over a cigar..unless I missed something.
I thought the Connecticut 3.7 X 58 was very enjoyable...my favorite out of the 3.
The Cameroon was ok..and the Habano was pretty decent as well.
Come on guys..everyone's tastes are different. People are allowed to dislike the Nubs AFTER they TRIED (<---Key word) them.
Bashing the Cigar...
I just had another Connecticut Nub, and I take back what I said about the draw. This time..the draw was perfect and the burn was near perfect again as well. I would compare this smoke to the Diamond Crown #5 or Montecristo white rothschilde.
I think this is one fantastic smoke.
I just tried the Connecticut 464 last night, and I really enjoyed it. I thought this smoke was on the smooth side, and to be quite honest..it was a perfect burn! I thought the construction of the wrapper was nearly flawless as well.
The only negative is..I wish the draw was a tad better. I...
Let me make a correction to my last post.
I contacted CI (they got back to me tonight..amazing!) and the "free shipping" is unlimited (can use as many times as you wish), and it will be good till the middle of May.
