    Arganese ML3

I smoked the robusto this evening. On initial light it came on strong and the sidestream smoke was enough to make my eyes water. After 1/2" it mellowed out. After an inch there was a lingering spice finish that didn't go away. It was STRONG. I hadn't eaten before smoking this and it ****ed me...

    Arganese Nicaraguan Robusto

So I snagged this one from work. Have to write a description for it so I might as well smoke one to know what it tastes like. Construction: 7/10 This is a well constructed cigar. Small veins run the course of the wrapper. The only detractor from its appearance was a somewhat messy cap, it had...

    Taboo Twist Robusto Review

http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=177818 In the above linked thread I had a bad experience with the torpedo of the same blend. Apparently that was a previous batch and Rob was kind enough to send me a pack of Twists of all shapes. I would like to thank Rob at Taboo for his gracious...

    Padron Confusion

OK so I know this has been gone over before but Google and the CS search have not been kind to me in my current addled state. So Padron has the Anniversary 1926 and 1964. They also have the 40th and 80th Anniversary which are also 1926? I don't care about the Millenium, won't ever see one. If...

    Taboo Twist Torpedo Review

This was kindly gifted to me by kgoings at the last herf we both attended. I smoked this while it was drizzling a little. I keep my humidor at 65% and it was in there for about a week. It lit pretty well and the taste was pleasant at first. The sweet maduro and woodiness complemented each other...

Oliva Serie G Cameroon Tubo Question

I can't seem to find info online whether this one is round or box pressed... Oliva's little manual doesn't say either. Sheesh. It's been so long since I've smoked one I can't remember. Anyone here know?

    Tatuaje Mianas?

I heard mention of this in the chat. Seems I've not been paying enough attention. What's this? I tried looking at Famous, CI and TexCigars, didn't see anything.

    Smokin' PIOs.

No, not POS. Anyway, I met up with Jared from TexCigars yesterday afternoon and he had these, said I should try one. The shape I smoked was a toro. It smoked smooth. At first light there was some major pepper and citrus tang. About 3/4" down that mellowed out to a woody, sweet almost whiskey...

Anyone else recover from the cigar addiction?

For me, hobbies are like base jumping. No slope, just jump off, parachute and land at the bottom. Then, having conquered that height I look for somewhere else. I always keep vestiges of a previous hobby and still participate but not nearly as actively. First it was video games, then headphones...

Looks like it will be a while until I buy more cigars.

Happy fun financial times y'all know how it gets. I buy about one cigar from the Tinderbox and one from Habanos Torres a week now. My collection has dwindled as I enjoy what I still have. Le sigh. A CI catalog came in the mail yesterday and I looked it over with a sad eye. Tim made a bundle...

    TheCigarFO Premier 6 Double Corona

The construction on this thing was good. A vein went through the wrapper and it did not have the spongey feel of the Peruvian ligero stick of theirs. It lit easily but burned somewhat unevenly until the second half thanks to the breeze blowing through today. This cigar reminded me of the Vega...

    TheCigarFO Peruvian Ligero Churchill

So I'm going to start shipping out for the split tomorrow and decided I'd give one of these a try. I bought 'em sight unseen, review unread. I like most cigars with Peruvian tobacco so decided the price was right to gamble. The construction is solid, not exactly the prettiest thing but by no...

Anyone else keep a hit list?

:cb You all know what I'm talking about. Right now I can think of three BOTLs that need some schooling. Got it planned out end everything. You guys keep a list so as ya don't forget who's got what's coming to them?

    Is anyone else torchless?

My luck with torches is very bad. Usually after the first purge/refill they never work for me again. I have become very adept at using matches. Yes, even in the wind!

I smoked a cigar today that made me take a nap in my chair.

So I had an hour and half of overtime :BS at work today. My carpool left so I bused it to Habanos Torres. Told Tim to make me a strong ugly stick. He asked if I was sure and I got something beautiful. It was about 7", 60 at its fattest and tasty as can be. The filler was 30 year Nicaraguan...

Mmm mmm. Smoked some tasty ones last night.

Fonseca Sun Grown Cedar Wavell and a Toraño Signature perfecto. The Fonseca was impressive. Peppery with floral notes, a little tang and almost sawdust for a moment. The Signature was the same as always but I like the toro better.

    El Laguito, made by Pinar?

So this morning I was hanging out with a good friend and decided to play oddball at the B&M. I'd never heard of these before and it was a beautiful Connecticut lancero. Tasted like nuts, a little pepper and just a slight hint of vegetation. Tasty as hell and beautiful. The ash split as I smoked...

You favorite cigar moments picture thread.

My sister enjoying her first cigar and me with a righteous nicotine buzz. HT custom 40s yo. Tim smoking one of his son's bunches. That kid likes to use ligero, each was all of 3.5" x 40 and knocked us all on our asses. Happy pill and a cigar Tim found left me in this state. Some of the...

    Camacho Liberty 2006

Just smoked about... 1/2. Got it for 30% off at the Tinderbox, they weren't moving. It looked and smelled beautiful and the box sure was pretty. It lit easily and burned evenly. Got almost no flavor until 1 3/4" in. Then it was kinda citrus with an almost twang feeling. The flavor tuned in and...
