    Taboo Twists Heavy...?

I recently bought a few Taboo Twists, and have had one before these and have always noticed they seemed pretty darn dense...and heavy. I was hoping to get some feedback on why this is and what is the purpose of it, if they are stuffed with more tabacci than other cigars. Maybe that's why I...

    Carlos Toraño-Virtuoso

I received a Torano in a trade and didn't know much about it, other than it was a Virtuoso...which meant nothing to me. I took it to work and first thing I noticed was the dark oily wrapper...smelled and looked wonderful. So after a great dinner and spending time with a friend I don't see...

We have some really great Gorilla's here

Tonight I had to go through something insanely hard that I never thought I would, and never would wish upon anyone. I was in chat, didn't have anyone else to talk to but my brothers here, they gave me some kind words, encouragement and helped me at least not lose it, and I from the bottom of my...

Yea... I don't know what it's called, but I got a humidor with a crappy one that I could never set, it was gold colored, circular with a spring inside... that thing that tells you how wet your cigars should be.... So while taking advice from other members, I bought a new cutter and saw a...

    A newbie's cigar tour

Well after meeting some really cool people in my last thread and getting some great feedback, I've decided to keep a journal or log of sorts, with the cigars I smoke, so as I look back I can remember what and why I liked certain ones. This started with a Don Tomas, which I'll only repost to...

So in my endeavors to try different cigars that I may or may not like, I picked up a Don Tomas Sun Grown, think it was about 5-6 inches long, light/medium brown wrapper color... Can't tell you what it was name wise or wrapper wise other than that atm. It was pretty good! I wanted to get out...

First off let me say, I know next to nothing about any of this stuff. I got a small humidor, picked up a cutter and lighter the guy at the shop showed me, and these little clear tubes with jelly crystal things in them. Believe they're called drymistat. They look like this: I've been...
